KRHS Swim Team Competes at State Meet

Our KRHS swim team had a great showing at the State Swim Meet. 

🥇 Senior Evan Blazer is the 50 Freestyle State Champion! He also captured 🥈 2nd place in the  100 Freestyle and set new school records in the 50 and 100 Freestyle!

🏅Senior Chase Fyffe seized 4th place in the 100 Butterfly and 13th in the 100 Freestyle!

🏊‍♀️ Sophomore Jayleigh Brown finished 26th in the 50 Freestyle.

🏊‍♀️ The girls 200 Free Relay team of Jayleigh Brown, Ryleigh Brown, Brooke DeHart and Alyssa Shaffer finished 18th and set a new school record!! 

🥳 Congratulations to our KRHS Swimmers and Coach Shaffer 👏👏👏 on an excellent finish to their season!

These amazing 6th-grade students⸺Ella M., Hadley M., Ella R., ad Avid S.⸺organized a gift drive for the Clark County SPCA 🐾! 

Their dedication, hard work, and love for animals is truly inspiring. 

We are so proud of them for their unwavering commitment to making a difference in our community and our furry friends' lives.

NEHS & KRHS | CTC Students Advance to State Competition After Impressive Regional Performance

NE Senior Trinity Ridgeway and KR Senior Skylar Sullivan gave commanding performances in the SkillsUSA Regional Competition! 

Thirteen students, who attend Springfield Clark CTC, competed against the top students from over eighteen schools in the Southwest region of Ohio over the last three weekends at the Warren County Career Center and other offsite locations. 

🥇 Skylar took first place in the Nurse Assisting competition.

🥈 Trinity took second place in the Medical Terminology competition. 

Both Trinity 👩‍⚕️ and Skylar 👩‍⚕️ will compete in the SkillsUSA State Competition in April!

KRHS Athletics | Cougars’ Last Dance in the KR Gym

A huge Kenton Ridge THANK YOU to all Cougar Alumni who came and supported the KRHS basketball teams on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, in their final games in our current KR gym. 

It was a packed house, and we are so grateful to our Cougar Pride Nation for their support and sharing this experience with us!

On Friday, January 13, 2023, Kenton Ridge High School (KRHS) scholar Hannah Staats-DeLong, and Northeastern High School (NEHS) scholar Joslin Mefford received a Martin Luther King, Jr., Peacekeeper award from the City of Springfield, Clark State College, and the Human Relations Board.

For today's Kenton Ridge PK-12 building construction update, we drop in on a few of our staff tours for our middle and high school staff and an elementary team! We also get a look inside one of the staff workrooms and get to see the progress on the floors in the gymnasium and the Terrazzo flooring.
