TOTAL COLLEGE COURSES  APPROVED BY CLARK STATE TO OFFER AT KENTON RIDGE:
24 COURSES  for a total of 77 college semester credits.

Step 1:  All students wanting to participate in College Credit Plus for the 2026-27 school year (even if they participated in 2025-26) can meet the information and counseling requirement by attending the Informational Meeting, which will be held in January/February every year.  There will be two components – general information/counseling about CCP and information/counseling about CCP at Kenton Ridge.  The PowerPoint presentations from both components will be available on the KR website after the Informational Meeting is held.  One PowerPoint is a general overview about College Credit Plus that applies to all Ohio students; the other is specific to Kenton Ridge in addition to the CCP scheduling process.

Step 2:  Submit the “Intent to Participate” and “Counseling forms to the Guidance Office, with parent and student signatures, on or before April 1.  This is a deadline established by the Ohio Department of Education. This form MUST be submitted by the deadline to be eligible to take ANY courses through the CCP program in 2026-27, including summer and fall 2026 and spring 2027.

NOTE: April 1, 2026, falls in the middle of spring break, so you are strongly encouraged to submit your forms by March 27, before spring break begins.

Reminder, the “30” maximum credits to earn in an academic year includes summer, fall and spring semesters. High school only credits x 3 plus college credits need to equal 30 or less.

IF YOU MISS THE APRIL 1 DEADLINE:  YOU CAN TAKE CCP COURSES FOR SPRING SEMESTER 2027 ONLY BY SUBMITTING THE INTENT TO PARTICIPATE AND COUNSELING FORMS TO THE GUIDANCE BY NOVEMBER 1, 2026.

Step 3:  Be sure to meet the application and testing requirements for the college(s) you plan to attend or earn credit from.  All of the CCP courses offered at KR are through Clark State so the Clark State application and testing requirements need to be met for the CCP courses at KR.
