Rotary Club Scholarship
THE SPRINGFIELD ROTARY CLUB IS OFFERING
THE MARTIN FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP AND THE CHARLES L. FOX SCHOLARSHIP
(children of Springfield Rotary Club members are not eligible). THE AMOUNT OF THESE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE BASED ON THE EARNINGS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS, TYPICALLY AROUND $2,000. BOTH SCHOLARSHIPS ARE RENEWABLE IF THE STUDENT MEETS THE CRITERIA.
MARTIN FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must reside in Clark County
Attend a Clark County High School
Have a 3.5 G.P.A.
Have a strong community service background
Show evidence of leadership involvement while in high school
Submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher
Submit a letter of recommendation from a community member (someone outside of the school system)
CHARLES L. FOX SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must reside in Clark County
Attend a Clark County High School
Have a 3.0 G.P.A.
Have a strong community service background
Show evidence of leadership involvement while in high school
Submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher
Submit a letter of recommendation from a community member (someone outside of the school system)
Selection will be based on: Scholarship, Assessment of need based on Adjusted Gross Income and other information provided by the applicant, School and Community Service and Recommendations. Interviews will be required for scholarship finalist.
APPLICANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATION, A PAPER COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPT MUST BE REQUESTED FROM GUIDANCE BY MARCH 13TH!
DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS EARLY.
